Although I’ve never been a big fan of group work, I am a huge fan of final projects. I much prefer final projects to final tests. Fortunately for me, almost all of the finals for classes in the Digital Media major were final projects. If the students know enough English that they can converse with the teacher, it’s not such a bad idea. After ten minutes of writing I read to them what I wrote, ask them questions about it, then open up the remaining time to let them read what they wrote.
